Flying Ravana Adventure Park, operated by Vella Adventures (Pvt) Ltd (“Flying Ravana”, “FRAP”, “we”, “us” or “our”), respects the privacy of guests, customers and website visitors.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal information when you interact with Flying Ravana, including through our website, booking channels and customer service channels.

This policy should be implemented consistently with the Sri Lankan Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA), as amended, and applicable regulations. The Data Protection Authority states that the PDPA provisions relating to processing of personal data, data-subject rights and controllers/processors became operational from 18 March 2025.

    • Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect information necessary to process your booking and provide our services, including:

  • Nationality;
  • Identification information;
  • Passport or Driving Licence details where required;

    • We will seek to limit collection to information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

The PDPA provides data subjects with rights including access to their personal data and withdrawal of consent where the processing is based on consent.

    • Certain identification information may be required to verify eligibility, nationality/rate category or participation requirements.
    • For example, Sri Lankan guests may be required to provide an accepted identification document, while foreign guests may be required to provide passport or Driving Licence details.
    • Such information will be handled only for legitimate and relevant purposes and protected against unauthorized access or disclosure.
  1. Payment Information:
    • Flying Ravana accepts various payment methods, including cash, cards and specified digital payment methods.
    • Where payment is processed through a third-party payment provider, payment information may be processed by that provider in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable security requirements.
    • Technical confirmation required before publication: The website team should confirm whether FRAP itself stores any payment-card information. The Privacy Policy should not state that FRAP stores card details unless this is technically verified.
  1. Sharing Personal Information:
    • Personal information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to:
  • authorized employees and representatives of Flying Ravana;
  • service providers supporting booking, payment, technology or website operations;
  • travel agents or booking partners where relevant to the reservation;
  • professional advisers where necessary;

  • other parties where disclosure is authorized or required under applicable law.
    • We do not intend to sell customers’ personal information.

    • Subject to the applicable provisions of the PDPA, individuals may have rights relating to their personal data, including rights to:
  • request access to personal data;
  • request information regarding the processing of their personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • exercise other applicable rights provided under Sri Lankan data-protection law; and
  • make a complaint regarding the processing of personal data.
    • The PDPA expressly provides a right of access to personal data and a right to withdraw consent in circumstances where processing is based on consent.

  1. Third Party Websites & Services:
    • Our website may contain links to third-party websites, booking platforms, payment services or other external services.
    • Flying Ravana is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services. Guests should review the applicable privacy policies before providing personal information to those third parties.
  1. Children:
    • Where children participate in activities, FRAP may collect information necessary to administer the booking and participation in accordance with applicable requirements.
    • Parents, guardians or responsible adults are responsible for providing accurate information relating to participating children where required.
